What do we have in common?

Many times leaders encounter team members that are very different from them. Discuss how you, as a leader, may work to overcome these differences.

I may try to talk to them and just become friends with that person and try to find things that we have in common.

I think this exercise helped each other understand each other more. Ashley

I thought that this activity was really fun. I was paired with one of my best friends and this activity helped me learn stuff about her that I didn't know. I also got to learn a lot about the rest of the pople in National Junior Honor Society. Some things that I learned about other people were funny.

It is always good to know and or find out what we have in common with other students that have been left out so they to can have someone to talk to that are just like them.

Even though I got paired up with a friend that I know pretty well, I still found out some pretty cool facts that I didn't know.

In knowing what we have in common with members of a group, we can understand how to present ourselves to the group and how to help that certain person with a project. I found the activity helpful eventhough I knew the person.

I think you could try to settle for something you both like. You could also try to talk to each other.

I liked this activity and how you chose people that we didn't know so we could learn more about them. We should always try to find good in people and what we have in common because sometimes we have to live with them.

It is good to talk to new people, so that you can find out what you have in common. It takes a lot of guts sometimes to walk up to someone new and ask about them.

I found out some things about people I wouldn't have known before most likely. So far today I have learned many new things playing these activities.

The "What do we have in common" activity was ok too. I became more of a friend with my partner than I was before.

People could overcome their differences by becoming better friends with people.
